Part of my First Steps mini collection, Something Special was inspired by a wintertime walk along the Sammamish River.
For the First Steps mini collection, I aimed to use a limited color palette consisting of hues loosely representing the sky and earth. The paintings are an interpretation of landscapes from places I've been across Washington consisting of memories of how it felt to be there, often aided by a snap I took at each spot for referencing shapes and patterns.

Signed on the front with painting details written on the back of the cradle

Works on paper larger than 11 x 14 will ship rolled, works on paper 11 x 14 and smaller will ship flat. Works on paper will ship in archival acetate envelopes. Works on canvas or cradled will ship securely wrapped in bubble wrap inside of boxes.
