Part of my First Steps mini collection, We Keep Coming Back was inspired by memories of the gentle rocking of my paddleboard on the water in Andrews Bay on Lake Washington.
For the First Steps mini collection, I aimed to use a limited color palette consisting of hues loosely representing the sky and earth. The paintings are an interpretation of landscapes from places I've been across Washington consisting of memories of how it felt to be there, often aided by a snap I took at each spot for referencing shapes and patterns.
Unframed prints available in 8x10 and 11x14 inch editions that are professionally printed on 100 percent cotton.
Prints are signed by the artist.
